Ravello Events Wedding Planner on the Amalfi Coast: 2014

We reached the end of 2014 season!
A wonderful successful season due to the cooperation our our great team!
We would like to tell you about our wonderful couple who chose October for their romantic destination wedding in Italy here in Ravello.
Heather & Michael got married on 4th October October 2014 in the Town hall garden Principessa di Piemonte.
It was a clear sunny day with the a perfect temperature!
They are both Us citizens . They opted for a civil ceremony in the local Municipal gardens with sea view . This is a wonderful location on top of a hill overlooking the below Amalfi Coast.
The Civil ceremony was accompanied by an elegant string trio.
The rite was personalized with readings and poems and red by them and their closest family members.
Bride and groom, created a very cosy and intimate atmosphere for their ceremony, it was very emotional, especially when our beautiful bride Heather walked into the aisle.
For their reception they chose the charming next door Hotel Palazzo Avino.
This hotel was an historical palace located in the noble part of Ravello and their restaurant called Rossellini's holds 1 Michelin star.
The aperitif after the ceremony was served in the upper floor of the hotel /palace called Vimini terrace.
Food and service is very refined .
We loved bride and groom since the beginning, because of their way of being.
We are happy that the Ravello Events has been able to create the wedding of your dream!

September as every year is considered to be the best month for arranging a wedding.
Georgina & Steve got married on 7th September 2014 in the catholic church of Santa Maria Assunta in Ravello.
This church is located in the main centre of Ravello in a very special position.

Couple and guests can easily reach it walking from any hotels or apartments in Ravello.
No transfers are needed. Very handy.

The Duomo rises on top of the steps and it overlooks the below Piazza .
The catholic ceremony was followed by a typical italian aperitif arranged in one of the nicest bar in the square .
The elegant wedding reception for their 130 guests was host in the 5 stars plus hotel Caruso Ravello

We will surely come back to tell you about the full story but what we would like to tell you here is about the day before the event!
Very often we plan rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding or day after events for our couples which like sharing some more days together to their guests .

We normally propose lovely trips on the sea, boat tours, pizza parties, beach parties, spa days for ladies, aperitifs or brunch and day trip to the close Capri island .

We had a very original idea for Georgina & Steve pre- wedding night dinner.

There is a town called Scala just few kms outside Ravello in which there is one of the nicest hotel with pool and terrace overlooking the romantic Ravello .

We planned an informal BBQ style dinner with free drinks and dancing for all their guests , candles and torches were displayed in any corner of the villa.

Some chats, some drinks and a great fun with the dancing till late.

This was a great way to plan a day before event to get together and offering to their guests an enjoyable night!

Let’s come back and talk a bit more about this special Couple to us which for the organization of their wedding day hired the Ravello Events' team.

Georgina and Steve came to Ravello 1 year before the event and from the moment onwards , we started planning the wedding of their dreams.

To be honest, Georgina has been one of our best bride with which it has been wonderful dealing and working with for so much time.

She is very clever and quick and she appreciated all our tips .

Steve is a real gentleman the perfect missing half for Georgina!

The Hotel Caruso was their wedding reception Venue, it is a fabulous wedding Venue with a botanical garden surrounded by Mediterranean plants and flowers.
Just the perfect background for an exclusive wedding!
The party started with a cocktail served in their gardens and went on with a romantic candle light dinner in the Wagner garden overlooking the sea .

Thousand of stars in the sky, candles all over the garden, on the steps, on the tables were the perfect frame for an unforgettable, fascinating night .

After dinner, all the guests moved to a different location which is indeed the most beautiful part of this Hotel : the pool area !
Here, we set an incredible spot with lights, cushions, floating candles , sofas , chairs , veils and lanterns spread all over the path .
The Cutting of the cake, was absolutely the best part of the whole event because it was synchronized with an unexpected fireworks show wanted by Steve and kept as a secret till the end to Georgina’s and their guests.
What an amazing surprise to close the wedding day with the final fireworks show! Nobody could imagine it!
