Amalfi Coast catholic wedding

This time we back to you telling  about a wonderful couple of our friends.

Rossella and Daniele are Italian citizens , she lives in Ravello and Daniele in Atrani

They decided to have their wedding ceremony in Ravello and to have their wedding reception in Marmorata by the sea.This has been a good choice for  giving to their relatives and friends the chance to enjoy the hill and the sea in one day.
They chose to get married in September because in this time of the year, the Amalfi Coast offers wonderful scenarios.

Colour of the sky merges with the deep blue of the sea and the lush nature of the slopes mirrors in the water.
A really impressive frame!

But let’s start from the beginning of that fantastic day!

Daniele and Rossella decided for a romantic catholic ceremony in local church of S. Francesco in Ravello.
This baroque style church, lying on the top of the steps is incredibly beautiful.

Floral decorations helped to create a simple and elegant atmosphere that Rossella wanted.
Glass vases, candles and white flowers adorned the marble balustrades beside the altar and the aisle for reaching it.

Rossella had 2 bouquets one made of a white mini calla before going to the church and a purple mini calla bouquet as she walked into the aisle.

Ceremony was very romantic and truly involving.
Bride and groom’s emotion during the exchange of vows touched all friends and family members who came  there for sharing their special day!

After the Catholic ceremony the guests waited for the couple outside the lovely courtyard of the church for the traditional rice and rose petals shower.

While relatives and friends relaxed talking to each other,Rossella and Daniele decided to take an intimate walk down to the Villa Rufolo for taking their wedding pictures and have a moment just for themselves…

The wedding reception was held in the romantic hotel Marmorata which offers a wide open space on the sea.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere unique .

After a delicious dinner, they finally had the cutting of the wedding cake.

All the guests were delighted by the special day Daniele & Rossella offered to them.
