The idea is to listen to hundreds of popular wedding songs and music through Amazon.com, You Tube or I-Tunes then watch wedding music videos and build the perfect wedding playlist.
If you have your personal wedding planner, ask her what can be the most appropriate songs to each moment of your romantic wedding day.
The prelude songs
Prelude music is played prior to the ceremony as guests are being seated and they wait for the bride to come.
These songs will set the tone for your ceremony , therefore classical or religious musics is commonly played.
Depending on your timeline, you will typically choose 5-6 songs to be played at this time.
The processional songs
The processional songs begins as the immediate family members are ready to be seated . Depending on your ceremony dynamics , you will choose a new songs as your bridal party walks down the aisle
The bridal entrance songs
It is important to choose the perfect song as all the eyes will be on the blushing bride.
Interlude songs
Interlude songs are often used during the ceremony to signify a special moment for the couple. This would be a perfect type of song to play during the lighting of a unity candle.
Recessional songs
Congratulations, you're married! The recessional song celebrates your new commitment and is played as you walk up the aisle together.
Postlude songs
Played while guests leave after the recessional .
As your guests exit, the postlude music should keep with the upbeat mood.
First dance songs
Celebrate your love with your first dance as a married couple! Every couple is different. Choose a song that represents your relationship and style.
Mother son Dance songs
This is the groom’s opportunity to honour and thanks his mother for all she has done.
Father Daughter songs
This traditional dance is meant to signify the transitional between childhood and adulthood. This is your turn to thank your father for his love and support throughout the years.
Anniversary dance song
The anniversary dance is typically a time where married couples can come onto the dance floor and share a dance, as a celebration of marriage.
Cake cutting songs
Whether you decide to be kind or to smash cake in each other's faces, you will need a soundtrack to the excitement
Last dance song
Let's celebrate the happy couple one last time! You may want to choose a song that also thanks your friends and families for their love and support.

Jewish ceremony in Villa Eva
What a sweet wedding day for our couple from Uk Michelle and Misha .
Misha was born in US but he had Russian origin .
Michelle and Misha perfect day was hold in the famous Venue Villa Eva in Ravello.
They decided to have the Jewish ceremony and the wedding reception in the same place .
By not having to transfer guests from one location to another it can easily free up an additional hour which is extremely important on the wedding day . Ravello has got beautiful corners and it is an ideal setting for the wedding portraits.
Their wedding is a wonderful example of allowing the wedding space to shine without too much clutter in other details.
Simple, clean, refreshing floral helped adorn the natural environment, working in balance for a romantic style palette.
The Ravello Events was the wedding planner of this special bride and groom .
We helped them with all the wedding arrangement including the accommodation for all their guests, taxi transfers, rehearsal dinner , food and music at the Venue and activities like the boat excursion tour along the Amalfi Coast!
As we normally do, we try to use our instinct since the first touch we have with a couple.
We understand how important a wedding can be particularly to the bride . So, the first thing we do is to listen at the bride and groom’s wedding plans .
Nothing was more important to both Misha & Michelle than loved ones, laughter, music, and good food.
When planning their wedding day, they were sure to make those four passions take the spotlight.
The chuppah was built by the sea view , the white veils and flowers were so spectacular.
The Jewish ceremony itself was so traditional and romantic : the wine moment, the tearfully and giddily exchanged vows, Misha’s glass crushed to roaring sounds of “Mazel Tov.”
There were so many perfect little moments that made their day exceptionally special like during the Jewish ceremony while she was walked by her mum and dad, Michelle’s cousin’s played a viola while 2 family friends played the piano and a violin.
They made the ceremony very intimate and more personal in having their favourite people playing .
After the ceremony, the Jewish dance with the famous Hora gave the opportunities to have great fun , Misha was nearly falling down during it!
And speaking of dance, look at their first tango together as husband and wife; looks like it must’ve been quite a production! On the next season of “Dancing With The Stars”…
It was a beautiful day, full of love and joy, which neither of them will ever forget!

Our first Argentinian couple..
We are going towards the end of the season and we are pleased to tell you about our lovely couple Mercedes and Pablo who chose Ravello as their wedding destination .
September weddings are beautiful, the temperature is mild and the days are almost all sunny and beautiful, we highly recommend you to have a wedding in September along the Amalfi coast!
Pablo and Mercedes wanted to have e a real Italian style event but they did not know where to have it!
They came from Argentina and they never visited the town before. Mercedes ‘s mum proposed Ravello as their wedding place because she visited it last year.
So, all their wedding was an amazing surprise but they loved it when they arrived.
The wedding day was very intimate, there were only both parents and Pablo’s brothers and sisters .
Ravello Events wedding planners followed the event on their behalf taking care of all the little details.
Our bride and groom wanted to have a catholic ceremony in the church of Santa Maria a Gradillo and our Priest Don John did satisfy their expectation fully .
It was very touching seeing her walking with her dad and keeping a rosary beads in her hand .
In many years, this has been the first time I have seen such a beautiful demonstration of faith.
Pablo and Mercedes are the perfect couple, the half part of the apple , everybody can see how in love they are with each other .
The wedding reception was hold in a romantic restaurant with a breath-taking sea view on the coast.
We arranged an imperial table and they opted for traditional dishes of the area.
Their honeymoon was in Sicily another beautiful part of our land, how could not they miss it !
Congratulations!
Last minute wedding in Ravello
Today we are pleased to tell you about Jean Lou and Catherine, a lovely couple which asked for our help for the wedding documentation just a month before the wedding day .
We gave them all the instruction to be followed and they completely trusted us since the beginning.
Their main wish was to get married here in this romantic place , Ravello.
Our bride Catherine was from Uk and Jean Lou was Belgian citizen both living in the UK.
Let us say that It was first of all a very intimate event, only four people: bride and groom and their two witnesses were present at the event.
One of the two witnesses was Jean Lou’s daughter, what a sweet thing!
This very intimate civil ceremony , took place in the Town hall garden of Ravello.
Our bride did not wore a white classical bridal dress but an elegant short fuchsia dress.
What about our groom Jean Lou? He really looks handsome in his suit.
After the civil ceremony, bride groom and the small wedding party went around Ravello for taking their fabulous wedding pictures.
A wedding cocktail in the 5 stars hotel Palazzo Avino was arranged on their way back by the Ravello Events .
Thanks to Alfonso Longobardi our great photographer who took care of the couple’s picture .
His great shots can be seen here below .

Ravello catholic ceremony
Lucy and Sebastain came here last October
Their first site inspection was not so good, in fact it was a very rainy day but when they saw the Villa Eva and the wedding pictures showed by the wedding Coordinator , they literally felled in love with it.
Less than one year later, on 24th August 2013, a wonderful sunny day started for Lucy and Sebastian's wedding.
The wedding Ceremony was planned to be in the Duomo main Church in Ravello.
Lucy got ready in the Hotel Villa Fraulo with her family and bridesmaids while Sebastian got dressed in the Hotel Giordano, a nice 4 stars hotel with pool.
The Religious ceremony was held in the superb Duomo of Ravello. A Romanesque style church, bright and beautiful.
The ushers distributed to all the guests lovely order of service .
Bride are normally late so Lucy did but… just few minutes because Sebastian was waiting for her on the altar.
When she walked into the aisle , it was very touching especially when she reached Sebastian who kissed her tenderly.
The wonderful sound of a violin and harp made all even more magical.
After the Catholic ceremony, all guests waited outside the church to throw the traditional rice and rose petals made from Ravello Events especially for them.
While all guests reached the villa Eva for the cocktails , our couple went around Ravello for taking their wedding pictures.
It was a great occasion for taking some beautiful shots of them.
Once arrived at the villa , the maître d welcomed them with 2 flutes of Prosecco .
Together to our photographer Alfonso Longobardi they decided to have some group photos on the villa grass , an ideal setting for the photos!
The gorgeous Spaghetti band started playing during the aperitif till midnight. They were amazing!
At about 7.30 pm the dinner was ready to be served under the marquee .
Traditional Amalfi Coast lemons together to white and yellow flowers, decorated the wedding tables and some mini bottles of limoncello were used as wedding favours . The atmosphere was perfect!
They moved by the pizzeria area for the cutting of the wedding cake, a three tiers cake… beautiful!
As grand final bride and groom first dance and then dancing with a DJ till 2.00 a.m.
What a great party!

Chic Wedding in Ravello
I like meeting people, talking to them and knowing more about their life, culture and traditions.
l love creating with my couples the perfect feeling and try to follow their wishes and needs as much as possible in order to give them the best solution for their ideas and budget.
I ‘m always pleased to guide couples during the site inspections along the pedestrian roads of Ravello for discovering the beauty of its romantic corners.
Ravello and the Amalfi Coast offer to our couples which want to get married here wonderful hotels, villas and restaurants overlooking the waters.
I’m sure you would be amazed by our town Ravello like Jennifer & Matt were .
They both come from UK , we have been planning the perfect wedding for more than two years.
When I started speaking with them I immediately got the right feeling. I really liked them since the beginning.
After many emails and telephone calls, they decided to come here.
It was very hard to them to decide about the perfect wedding location , that’s why it took too long but in the end, they went for the most exclusive wedding Venue they couldn’t have chosen for their wedding day.
For the day before, they planned a casual chic wedding rehearsal dinner in the 5 stars hotel Caruso in Ravello for welcoming everybody and made them feel at home. It wasn’t difficult with such a wonderful setting!
The floral arrangement was so pretty , elegant and simple in the same time.
The hotel garden was plenty of flowers , hanging candles which fell down from the olive trees without considering the stunning view on the Coast .
On the day of the wedding the weather was not perfect, because some heavy rain fell down 1 hour before the wedding ceremony .
Jennifer got ready in one of the most lovely suites of the hotel Caruso overlooking the sea below and the hotel gardens.
Matt was staying in the same hotel but he also had some little fun with his best man at the bar .
The weather changed quickly and an heavy rain started falling down 2 hours before the ceremony time.
Despite to the rain , when everybody was ready we welcomed all the guests to the Duomo Church with a huge smile , hoping the rain to stop very soon!
Jennifer & Matt decided to have a mixed marriage in the Catholic church , main Duomo in Ravello.
Jennifer and her bridesmaids arrived right after the end of the rain , the sky became so clear and the sun shined.
With the amazing sound of a Wagner’s nuptial march , Jennifer walked into the aisle with her 2 dads . Isn’t it so sweet?
The church flowers were so beautiful Armando, our florist or as he normally like saying: “the florist” did a great job, everybody were stunned.
After the Catholic ceremony all guests waited for Jennifer and Matt outside the Church in the lovely little square steps in front of it. A big rice thawing for them…just like Italian tradition wants!
We all started reaching the amazing wedding reception venue Villa Cimbrone but while guests started their aperitif our couple and the bridal party took the chance to have a little time for their wedding pictures in the villa gardens and by the breath-taking Belvedere.
Once Back in Villa Cimbrone 2 fountains garden they enjoyed fresh and delicious canapés , they relaxed and then had some more wedding pictures with their guests against the beautiful backdrop of the sea view below.
The Crypt in which the wedding reception was held was absolutely gorgeous, again with amazing views.
The 5-course meal was wonderful and the service absolutely first-class.
The cake cutting took place in the amazing garden with so many white veils, lanterns, gazebo’s
In the late evening the wedding party enjoyed dancing , the music from the wedding band was brilliant
After midnight we made our way down to the Disco club Le Mosaique hired exclusively for their after dinner wedding party .
The Party was really fun, with music and dances , everybody had lot of fun !
The music carried on till 5.00 a.m in the morning when warm brioche and cappuccino was offered to all the wedding guests.
A beautiful end to a beautiful day.
The day was absolutely amazing and the Ravello Events loved working with Jennifer & Matt .
We are still in touch and we are now become more than simple friends , we will meet them again soon!
Ravello Events wants to thank to all who contributed to making Jennifer and Matt’s day so special ..
