Wedding ceremony

Outdoor wedding ceremonies are increasingly popular, providing a romantic setting in a botanical garden or on a romantic beach.

A beautiful ceremony is the most suitable way to begin the day. Amongst the excitement of all the celebrations , the moment when the couple's exchanging their vows is the most important part of the day:

For some couple, a traditional ceremony is perfect choice, whereas others may prefer something more personalized.

Personal touches can be incorporated into a traditional ceremony.

For example, the bridal march can be written especially for the bride or self written vows can be chosen by the spouses, in this way they can better express their emotions and feelings and add the unique touch to the ceremony.

As well as the exchanging of wedding vows, additional rituals may be included during the ceremony. Lighting a unity candle is a beautiful way to end the ceremony.

Today's weddings are planned to be a true reflection of the bride and groom’s personal tastes, along with incorporating more traditional elements. The choice is endless, and anything goes.

Engagement rings

There's a galaxy of rings and the best way to get a sense of what style you like is to go through bridal magazines, visit jewellers and search online.

Don't know what style is right for you? Do you prefer white metal over yellow gold? Modern or vintage?

Contact friends, family members and other brides in your area to find a trustworthy jeweller. Use forums to connect with other brides and take your time.

If a jeweller is too pushy or you get an uncomfortable feeling, move on to the next one.

Once you've decided on a shape, focus on colour, cut, clarity and carat.

Be realistic about what you can afford, and stick to your budget but don't forget to factor in certification .

Don't sacrifice quality for size. A smaller stone that's higher in quality will be worth more in the long run. But if size really does matter, consider oval, pear and marquise gems—these shapes make a diamond look largest.

Bride and groom stayed in the Hotel Villa Cimbrone the night before the wedding.

Wedding Photography

When selecting wedding photographers one important criteria is that you feel comfortable with both their personality and style of photography.

Before choosing , ask to see examples of his or her previous work, and make it extremely clear what you expect to see as the end result!

There are traditional wedding photographers specializing in arranged poses.

However, always more couples these days are opting to create a more natural and informal style with their wedding photography.

The trend in wedding photography is the wedding photojournalism .

It is a natural way of capturing the true feeling of the day with spontaneous moments rather than structured poses.
