is a nice British couple we met this year .

They decided to have their wedding in Ravello and to give to their relatives and closest friends a chance to get together.

What better occasion than a romantic wedding along the Amalfi Coast?
They chose to get married in early September when the temperature is perfect and the scenery on the Coast is wonderful .

The romantic civil ceremony took place in the Town hall garden of Ravello which lies on the hillside and offers a stunning view of the sea!

The wedding atmosphere was  simple and elegant .

After the Civil ceremony the party moved to the next door Hotel Palazzo Sasso for all the guests to have an aperitif followed by a candle light dinner.

 A wonderful aperitif was served in the 2 Michelin stars Rosselini Restaurant terrace.
 

The elegant inside dining room and the outside amazing view on the Amalfi Coast guaranteed  a magical frame for their intimate wedding reception!
The day went perfectly and all  the guests were simply speechless!

"Angela and Giulio,

 were looking for an intimate wedding on the amalfitan coast to reunite the close family scattered among 3 different countries. Ravello and Villa Cimbrone were part of their love story and therefore decided to celebrate the big day there.

We arranged a romantic civil ceremony in the garden of the town hall with music selected by the couple. They had a beautiful walk towards Villa Cimbrone and enjoyed a relaxing lunch at the “ Flauto di Pan” restaurant.

They found the photograph we proposed very professional and able to make them feel at ease while shooting and they loved the album for their pictures made of amalfitan paper."

Jacqueline Kennedy-The Myth and the Reality

Fifty years after her visit to Ravello, Jacqueline Kennedy is still remembered with great affection.The First Lady spent some memorable days here and, feeling very much at home, she promised to return.A promise she was never to fulfil as her husband was assassinated the following year.

As a memorial to a very special lady, Armando Malafronte has dedicated a special  fashion collection with a linen sheath dress and foulard decorated with rose petals as the centre-piece.The design captures Jackie's style, glamour and sophistication.

She is still remembered by the residents of Ravello shopping and eating in the many "ristorante" of the town.Her favourite dish was spaghetti with courgettes and fried onion with eggs-a sort of vegetarian carbonara.

In her honour the Capri pants and leather sandals much favoured by the First Lady are still available in the shops here.The owner of "Chez Caprice" is now offering the same design but they are now embossed with Svarovski crystals.

This collection is dedicated to a very special person with a unique sense of chic and glamour.

Civil Ceremony in Ravello and dinner in Palazzo Sasso

Summer is always the favourite wedding season for most of the couples who decide to get married along the Amalfi Coast.
Because of good weather, but also of beautiful colours and the incredible perfumes!

Kathryn & Darren  they are a wonderful couple from Northern Ireland .

They have decided to celebrate an outdoor Civil Wedding in the garden Belvedere Principessa di Piemonte in Ravello.

She was  absolutely beautiful and Darren was so elegant in his wedding’s Army suit.

Kathryn, who is a great perfectionist, wanted something really special: not only colours, but also summer fragrances diffused all around.

She loved the idea of feeling the scent of summer and freshness everywhere; this was the reason why she wanted us to use lavender seeds on the grass and in the cones used as confetti at the end of the ceremony .

Kathryn decided to go for a  white and light pink colours for her bouquet as well as for the flowers behind the ceremony chairs  .

The result has been unbelievable as you can see from the pictures!

The idea of using herbs to create original decorations and centrepieces gave a unique touch to this elegant wedding in Ravello.

At the end of the Civil Ceremony , bride and groom, choose the amazing hotel Palazzo Sasso overlooking the sea for their wedding aperitif an dinner.

The Hotel Restaurant has a relaxing and intimate atmosphere and 2 Michelin stars.

It was a delicious wedding dinner ended in  a romantic night which the guests will never forget.

Symbolic Ceremony in a private Villa

Today we come back to you telling about an intimate Symbolic ceremony in one of most romantic Villa along the Coast.

Inga and Henning contacted us only few months ago.

The day before the Symbolic Ceremony we arranged their Civil Ceremony in the Town Hall of Ravello so they could get legally married too.

The Symbolic ceremony took place the day after in a special frame where they also exchanged their vows and rings.

This Villa hides  wonderful gardens, a beautiful sea view on the coast and it is indeed an ideal setting for an unforgettable exchange of vows!

The symbolic ceremony has been arranged on the romantic terrace .

Inga is very sweet, with a wonderful smile and lovely personality.

Henning is a real gentleman , they are very much in love .

The ceremony was attended by both mums and dads and 2 closest friends.

We are sure that Inga & Henning together to their family and friends will remember this moment for a long time!!
Just another little dream coming true ....we simply love arranging wedding along the Amalfi Coast!

It was so nice arranging their wedding and it was so beautiful dealing with them.

They celebrated their first son’ s Christening in Ravello with Ravello Events on 5th July 2010 and now they are back for celebrating their second daughter's christening too.

 

 

Sofia’s has been baptised today on 5th July 2012, this is the wedding anniversary and the anniversary of Luca’s baptism too.

 

It has been an extremely small affair with just their immediate family and Sofia’s Godparents.

Louise is the mum of 2 amazing little people and wife to one handsome man which is also her best friend !

 

 

They are the perfect couple: they are young, they get on very well and they have a beautiful family .

The day was absolutely perfect .

The bride was amazing in her white dress , she looked like a princess while  Naoto  was very elegant in his black suit.
