Churches in Ravello

Ravello offers many charming and romantic churches of differing styles, perfect for a Catholic wedding ceremony.

In Ravello, you can celebrate your Catholic and Prostenat ceremony in one of a number of lovely, romantic churches for Catholic weddings with different architectural and decorative styles.

A couple can choose the perfect church for their Wedding ceremony according to their personal tastes and wishes and the size of their wedding group.

It is possible, on request, to decorate the charming  churches in Ravello with beautiful flowers and floral arrangements to make your ceremony even more personal and romantic.

We recommend classical music  during  your ceremony to add an extra touch or romance and elegance to your Amalfi Coast Ravello Catholic/ Protestant wedding.

The Duomo , which dominates the main village square, was built in 1806 and is dedicated to the patron saint of Ravello and Venice, San Pantaleone.

Inside, the cathedral has a nave and two aisles and is very elegantly decorated with beautiful pieces of fine art and statuary. The church was originally bequeathed to the town by the 13th Century local nobleman, Niccolo Rufolo.
The Duomo, which can be booked to celebrate Catholic weddings on any day of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays, hosts wedding groups of up to 200 people.

Boat excursion along the Amalfi Coast

One of the most beautiful times to see the Amalfi Coast from the sea is early in the morning or when the sun set .

The first town coming from Salerno is Vietri sul Mare, the Amalfi Coast’s famous town of ceramics.

Next up is the fishing village of Cetara , it is a seaside village with one of the most picturesque beaches on the Amalfi Coast.

Then it comes Erchie, it is an even smaller village that not everybody knows but it is nice to give a visit if you are looking for a quiet spot.

Maiori with its marine cave called PANDORA'S GROTTO, where it is possible to enter with a boat to experience this beautiful natural wonder.

Minori it is a pretty nice town with with its archaeological roman Villa.

Nearby there is MARMORATA FALLS, looking up it is possible to admire the majestically RAVELLO.

It is very famous for being the city of of music, and for the 2 magnificent villas called :Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone.

Looking to the left there is Atrani , one of the ,most beautiful sea side place along the Amalfi Coast with its bright colours of the buildings.

Just around the corner from Atrani, we find Amalfi the Old Maritime Republic where you can visit the the EMERALD GROTTO.

Sailing west, you will point out the FURORE FJORD, a deep inlet where the International Diving Championships are held annually and then cruise along the twin-mountain town of PRAIANO.

POSITANO is the vibrant town with a fashionable beach setting , before steering out to sea to visit the mythical islands of LI GALLI.

The islands are legendary as it is said Ulysses had to tie himself to the mast of his ship in order to resist the singing of the sirens.

CAPRI is now within reach at PUNTA CAMPANELLA, where the AMALFI COAST officially ends and the SORRENTO COAST begins.

A must in Capri is the visit to the famous BLUE GROTTO, the FARAGLIONI rock formation and the WHITE and GREEN GROTTOS.

Italian wedding cakes

The uniqueness of Italian wedding cakes are the ingredients used in making the cakes which are very genuine and tasteful.

Italian wedding cakes are prepared in a variety of flavours like vanilla, dark & white chocolate, nuts, Chantilly cream , caramel and so on .

Today it is also possible to create delicious works of art that are specific to the guests dietary needs.

There are many options to serve dairy-free, gluten-free flours and vegan wedding cakes .

Modern couples adapt the wedding cake to the colour scheme of the wedding other, use cake toppers more and more ornate .

Shapes and sizes can be mixed and matched depending on what the bride and groom have in mind.
